Privacy Policy for CustomerLink website and apps
The CustomerLink suite of products provide a shopping experience for customers who have an existing business relationship with us (referred to
hereafter as "the vendor").
In fulfilling that experience, certain information may be collected and utilized.
What information is collected?
- Information such as shipping addresses, for the purpose of fulfilling orders
- Cookies, to maintain session information for the shopping session
- Email addresses, for the stated purpose of sending product, ordering, and account information to the user
- Camera images, taken at the request of the user to lookup items by barcode and/or to document damage for product returns
- Payment information, if payment by credit card is available
- Usage statistics, for the purpose of improving site performance and tracking ad impressions - this information is collected alongside
uniquely-identifiable information such as your IP address and account ID
In some cases, CustomerLink may also be configured to collect additional information in order to establish a new business relationship
between the user and the vendor. The required information is clearly marked and expressely requested - it is not collected passively without
the user's consent.
How do you protect my payment information?
Your payment information is never stored on the vendor's system. It is passed to a PCI-compliant payment processor and stored there. The vendor
associates a unique identifier with your online shopping account and references that identifier when handling payments.
What is the collected information used for?
The information collected is used solely to provide a shopping experience for the user, and to accept and fulfill orders.
Is the collected information shared with third parties?
Payment information is shared with a payment processor, for the sole purpose of facilitating payments. Ad impressions may be shared with a
third party in the form of aggregate click-rates, with no uniquely-identifiable information. All other information is used solely
by the vendor and is not shared with third parties.
How do I request deletion of my account?
You can request deletion in both the app and on the web by navigating to My Account, then Change Account. An option will be presented to delete
your account. Fill in the information and you will be subsequently contacted by a company representative.
